Osman I
Osman I laid the foundation for the Ottoman Empire, which would grow into one of the most powerful empires in history. His son, Orhan, built upon his father’s work by expanding the empire further, leading to major conquests and advancements. Osman’s influence lasted for centuries, shaping the way the empire was ruled and how it interacted with the world.
SELIM I
Selim the Grim mostly known as Selim I, was the second ruler of the Ottoman Empire from 1512 to 1520. Big battles against the Safavids and Mamluks were won by the Ottoman Empire adding Egypt, Syria, Palestine, and the Hejaz to the empire. His victories made the Ottomans the most powerful force in the Islamic world. Because of Selim I, the Ottoman empire also gained control over Mecca and Madina which were important holy cities. Though he was a tough ruler, his success helped his son kead the empire into a great period of growth.
MEHMED II
Mehmed the Conqueror, also known as Mehmed II, was the Ottoman Sultan who took over Constantinople in 1453, thereby ending the Byzantine Empire and establishing the city as Istanbul, the Ottoman Capital. MURAD I

efRuling from 1362 to 1389, Murad I was an early and important Ottoman sultan. He expanded the empire deep into the Balkans, capturing key cities like Adrianople (now known as Edirne, the new capital). He led many battles against Serbs, Bulgarians, and Hungarians, and made several local rulers pay tribute to him. Murad also helped shape how the empire was run by dividing it into two parts (Anatolia and Rumelia). His reign ended at the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, where he was killed.
BAYEZID II
Bayezid II was the Ottoman Sultan from 1481 to 1521. He was the son of Mehmed II, who took over Constantinople. Bayezid didn't fight many wars; instead, he worked to keep the empire peaceful and fair. He helped people, like the Jews who were kicked out of Spain in 1492, by giving them a safe place to live in Ottoman lands. He also had a long fight with his brother Cem over who should be sultan. In the end, Bayezid gave up the throne for his son Selim I and died soon after. People remember him for being kind and wise.
MURAD II
Murad ii was the Ottoman sultan from 1421 and 1444, and 1446 and 1451. He became sultan when he was just 16. He spent much of his rule fighting wars in the Balkans and against European crusaders. He won big battles which helped the empire grow stronger. Murad also made peace deals and worked to fix problems inside the empire. He gave up the throne for a short time to his son, Mehmed ii, but came back when war broke out again. He died in 1451, and Mehmed became a famous sultans.
AHMED I
Ahmed i was the Ottoman Sultan from 1603 to 1617, and became leader at the age of 13. He's best known for building the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, one of the most famous landmarks in Turkey today. Enlike earlier sultans, Ahmed did not kill his brotehrs when he became ruler, which was a major change from the past Ottoman traditions. His time as sultan was tough. He had to deal with wars, rebellions, and problems inside the empire. Still he was known for being religious and kind, giving money to help the poor and supporting holy places like Mecca and Medina. He died young, at the age of 27, but left a lasting mark through his mosque and his decision to stop royal killings.

There were many different Ottoman Sultans who were part of the Ottoman Dynasty. Each Sultan/leader ruled the Empire and was a big part of its amazing growth. All Ottoman Sultans were kind hearted but had a strong sense in justice, winning many wars and battles, helping the Empire to continue and thrive. Unfortunately the Empire had collapsed in World war I because of religion differences and rebillions.
